Robert Slater

A former partner at Ernst & Young, one of the world’s leading business consulting firms, Robert Slater brings a wealth of organizational and operational experience to the search for a cure for JM. In addition to his professional experience, he is a Lifetime Trustee of Cornell College of Iowa, former chair of the Business Leadership Task Force for Southern Methodist University, a former Chairman of the Advisory Council of the University of Texas Graduate School of Business and a former member of the City of Dallas Convention & Visitor Bureau. While serving as Executive Managing Director-North America for Spencer Stuart International, he was also featured in John Byrne's book on Executive Search as one of the top 100 executive recruiters in United States.

Mr. Slater currently serves as Chairman of the Board for the Creede Repertory Theatre and is a member of Cure JM Foundation Honorary Advisory Council. He  is the grandfather of a child with Juvenile Dermatomyositis, and he is deeply committed to the search to find a cure for JM.
