Julie and her husband, Nicholas Houpt, have been involved with Cure JM since 2018. Julie has served as a member of the research committee since October 2022 and has a particular interest in advancing research to help all children and young adults battling juvenile myositis.
Nick is an attorney in Dallas. Julie studied Science-Business at the University of Notre Dame, earned a master’s degree in public health from Columbia University, and is currently raising her three young children.
