Nicole Ryba joins Cure JM as a Chapter and Walk Manager. She is the former Executive Director for the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Monmouth, Ocean, and Middlesex Counties and Staten Island. She worked on many events, including MDA’s Muscle Walk and the Phil Villapiano Field of Hope Gala.
Her passion and drive for fundraising have grown stronger since her niece, Natalia, was diagnosed with juvenile dermatomyositis.
“I am inspired by my JDM Warrior niece each and every day. I want to be able to grow and connect our families through our local chapters and continue to create awareness about JM and the need for research. We want to find better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.”
Nicole lives in New Jersey with her husband and three daughters.
