Whether you’re newly diagnosed or simply need a fresh perspective, this session is your chance to get clear, compassionate guidance and ask the questions on your mind. Our expert panel will break down the basics of JM, explain common treatments and medications, share practical tips on sun protection and managing medical records, and offer strategies for working effectively with your healthcare team. 

Dr. Megan L. Curran is an Associate Professor and Fellowship Director in Pediatric Rheumatology at Children’s Hospital Colorado and the University of Colorado, where she leads clinical and research efforts in juvenile myositis, systemic sclerosis, and pediatric autoimmunity while overseeing a growing JM patient registry.

 Dr. Angela C. Chun is an Attending Physician in Pediatric Rheumatology at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital and Assistant Professor at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine. 

Dr. Belina Yi is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and pediatric rheumatologist at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore, specializing in juvenile dermatomyositis, calcinosis, and multidisciplinary care.
