First Steps Forward for the Newly Diagnosed
Whether you’re newly diagnosed or simply need fresh perspective, this session is your chance to get clear, compassionate guidance and ask the questions on your mind. Dr. Angela Chun will break down the basics of JM, explain common treatments and medications, share practical tips on sun protection and managing medical records, and offer strategies for working effectively with your healthcare team. Dr. Chun is an Attending Physician, Rheumatology, at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Rheumatology) at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Chun also serves on the steering committee of Cure JM’s Clinical Care Network.
