If you are aged 70 ½ or older you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA directly to Cure JM Foundation. A QCD lets an individual who has reached age 70 ½ or older donate up to $108,000 per year directly from their IRA without counting it as taxable income. (this amount will increase for inflation in future years).
Also, if you are 73 or over and required to take Required Minimum Distributions (RMD), your QCD gift will count toward meeting this RMD requirement. Many supporters who are required to take an RMD choose to make a QCD directly to Cure JM. Because the distribution goes directly to Cure JM, the amount withdrawn does not increase your taxable income.

Your IRA administrator will provide documentation of the distribution.
Because QCDs are not included in taxable income, you won’t claim a charitable deduction.

Cure JM has partnered with the vehicle donation service CARS to make donating your vehicle easier than ever. CARS accepts most cars, trucks, trailers, boats, RV’s, motorcycles, off road vehicles, heavy equipment and most other motorized vehicles. We are able to accept most vehicles running or not. The process is easy! Simply click here or call 855-500-RIDE seven days a week to speak to a representative. CARS will schedule a pickup of your vehicle at no cost to you, sell the vehicle and send the net proceeds directly to Cure JM. As soon as the vehicle is sold (and it is determined that your donated car qualifies for a deduction of more than $500) CARS will mail you an additional receipt and will include an IRS Form 1098-C.
Double your impact!
Many corporations match donations made by employees or retirees. You may need to provide them with Cure JM’s Tax ID number, #35-2222262, or provide another form.
