Dr. Julie J. Paik is a board-certified rheumatologist and Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Paik completed her internal medicine residency at UCLA-Cedars-Sinai/West LA VA Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. She then pursued a fellowship in rheumatology at Johns Hopkins, where she also obtained a Master of Health Science (MHS) in Clinical Investigation.
In her clinical practice, Dr. Paik specializes in autoimmune and inflammatory muscle diseases, with a particular focus on the neuromuscular manifestations of scleroderma. She co-directs the Johns Hopkins Myositis Center, where she leads clinical trials and research aimed at understanding and treating these conditions. She is currently treating patients that are 18+
