Tapering Medication- May 2025 Town Hall

Join us Thursday, May 15th at 2:00 PM Eastern for an informative Cure JM Town Hall with Dr. Kaveh Ardalan. He will provide insight into the art and science of tapering. Tapering or weaning off of medications is a critical part of managing Juvenile Myositis (JDM). This session will provide insights into the process of reducing or discontinuing treatments like steroids, methotrexate, IVIG, and other common medications used in JDM care. This session is designed to empower families with knowledge about tapering medications, fostering collaboration with their care team to make informed decisions tailored to each child’s unique needs.
