Han identificado mitocondrias calcificadas en el tejido muscular de pacientes de DMJ con calcinosis, un hallazgo que arroja nueva luz sobre la comprensi\u00f3n de la DMJ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Esta investigaci\u00f3n pionera abre la puerta a nuevos tratamientos potenciales para la DMJ<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\"Al centrarnos en las mitocondrias que se comportan mal y en la inflamaci\u00f3n, pretendemos desarrollar terapias m\u00e1s eficaces\", afirma el Dr. Lood. \"Adem\u00e1s, estamos trabajando para identificar biomarcadores mitocondriales \u00fanicos para adaptar planes de tratamiento individuales para cada paciente\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El a\u00f1o que viene, el Dr. Lood seguir\u00e1 explorando:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Nuevos objetivos de tratamiento<\/strong> basado en la funci\u00f3n mitocondrial<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Elaboraci\u00f3n de planes de tratamiento individuales<\/strong> utilizando biomarcadores mitocondriales<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>El impacto a largo plazo del mal comportamiento de las mitocondrias en JDM<\/strong> y c\u00f3mo podr\u00edamos prevenir la progresi\u00f3n de la enfermedad, es decir, detener la DMJ en seco.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Colaboraciones <\/strong>con otras instituciones de investigaci\u00f3n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Estamos entusiasmados con el potencial de esta nueva investigaci\u00f3n para mejorar la vida de los ni\u00f1os.
