Dr. Anita Dhanrajani is the Chief of Pediatric Rheumatology at Manning Family Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, where she leads a multidisciplinary team.
She completed her medical training and fellowships in Toronto at The Hospital for Sick Children and holds extensive expertise in childhood lupus. At Manning, Dr. Dhanrajani co-directs a Lupus Clinic (in partnership with nephrology) and a Skin & Joint Clinic (with dermatology), enabling coordinated, subspecialty care tailored to complex pediatric autoimmunity.
Dr. Dhanrajani is deeply committed to patient-centered care: she often says she considers what she would want for her own child when making clinical decisions. Outside of medicine, she is passionate about animal rescue and fosters for Zeus’ animal rescue, bringing a personal empathy to her work with children and families.
